I have the same issue. Thanks.
Any development on this issue?
Using Shift + mouse clicking on tabs has no visible effect, but if I then hit the close button it closes all the tabs on which I used Shift. So the feature does seem to function, without actually displaying the selected tabs. Would this be due to ta conflict with another add-on?
Since this feature started malfunctioning I've had to use another extension, Multiple Tabs Handler. But the selecting and closing multiple tabs feature was the main reason I switched from TMP to TU, so I hope this gets resolved soon. I may go back to TMP for the time being.
I'm having this problem in the current browser I'm using, which is a FF portable v32.0.3. However, I have a different instance of v32.0.3 in which the multiple selection works. I installed TU in each of these just a few days ago. I have a few different plugins in each instance, but none having to do with tabs. I use Tree Style Tabs and considered it might be an option in that plugin which differs, but I assume the other users here don't use TST?
Also, I just installed a new portable version of 3405, and selection works in that. What versions are you using?
I'm using the standard 34.0.5. It's still not shading the selected tabs. I've disabled all other extensions and it still doesn't work, so I don't think it's a conflict.
Selecting multiple tabs with Shift or Ctrl is the one feature that makes this add-on unique compared to Tab Mix Plus. (That's why i switched to Tab Utilities in the 1st place)
I made sure the option is enabled in the settings, but it won't select multiple tabs. I turned off all other add-on to avoid any interference, but no luck. I have the same issue on all my computers.
I tried some older versions of the add-on too, no luck.
Any suggestions?
