Hi Team,
Thanks for merging the issues. Can you please reopen issue 326 since the
original response to that issue is no longer valid ?
Thanks in advance !

Currently there are no plans to support that and that is why the status of the
original issue has not been changed.

I agree that simply dismissing the request based on an assumption is unwise.
There really is a business need for something that can be used in a corporate
network. Especially, since tablets are becoming more prevalent in businesses
for presentations and meetings I would hope someone would reconsider this
stance. Is it stands right now, I am being forced to look into other solutions.

There is also a huge market at universities because many of them (like mine)
have started phasing out cable in the dorm rooms. I got one over winter break
because my roommates and I are tired of fighting over who has to leave their
laptop plugged in by the TV so we can watch movies. I thought that it would
allow me to play movies on the TV while browsing the internet on my computer in
my lofted bed. But since my college uses WPA2 the chromecast is useless, and my
roommates are making me buy an apple TV. Would have been great to actually use
this thing. Seems like it wouldn't be an outrageous fix.
