Dockbar stuck to side after swiping #221

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. swipe (default=up) to reveal dockbar.
2. scroll to side in wrong direction and continue holding (dockbar can be
pushed nearly off screen)
3. swipe (default=down) to hide or close dockbar.
4. the next time you swipe to reveal the dockbar, it is stuck off the screen.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
haha, there it is. omgwtf?!

What version of the product are you using? On what phone? What Android
version?
ADW 1.1.5 standalone. Droid 1. Android 2.2.

Please provide any additional information below.
This may not exactly be a bug, but it was unexpected.

I made a mistake there. Steps should be:

(2 & 3 are without lifting, over and down)
1. swipe (default=up) to reveal dockbar.
2. scroll to side in wrong direction and continue holding (dockbar can be
pushed nearly off screen)
3. swipe down; dockbar disappears/standard dock appears
4. the next time you swipe to reveal the dockbar, it is stuck off the screen.

It occurred to me afterwards you normally swipe in the same direction to hide
and reveal. I think it has been standard behavior when dragging down on the
dock/dockbar to swap which one is in use? In step 1, I used swipe in middle of
screen to reveal, but of course while scrolling the dockbar, I dragged down by
accident to hide it.

This works in either direction.

The dockbar can be recovered by simply dragging it back into position.

I'm not even sure this is really a defect, so much as a hidden game, like an
easter egg. I can "stick" the entire dockbar off the screen where no icons are
visible. Maybe the defect is that it doesn't keep score? No way to post
missing scores online?
