lockup of OS when adding torrent #30

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install freebsd 7.2-stable i386
2. install rtorrent
3. install rutorrent, add a torrent via the webui

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect it to work, and on my other freebsd installs it DOES work (they
are all 64 bit) I am not sure if this is a freebsd bug or a rutorrent
bug...or something in between but for some reason when i ADD a torrent via
rutorrent the entire os locks up. It's still pingable but everything locks
up, can't ssh in, all open shells lock up....This is a remote machine so i
can't exactly see what's happening..

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

svn on freebsd 7.2-stable i386
Please provide any additional information below.
I am not sure why this happening, i thought originally it was because i
used rtorrent-devel but when i uninstalled and reinstalled rtorrent-stable
it didn't solve the problem. I am totally confused as to what is going on.

1) Which plugins are installed?
2) Restart rtorrent, DON'T run ruTorrent, and try to add some torrent from
rtorrent
console. What happens afrter that?

yah, i did all of that
adding torrents to rtorrent manually works.

I have all plugins installed EXCEPT rpc and darkpal
i figure it is either a kernel bug or an xmlrpc bug...but i do not know enough
to
know for sure. One thing i do know is i've installed it without issue on 7.2
amd64
several times, this is the first install of i386 i've tried.

heres what is weird....when i click the button to add torrent it brings up the
add
torrent window fine, all the stuff in the window works properly but as soon as i
click add everything locks up. The webserver was lighttpd and it was set up to
use
https but i tried it without https and it still happened.

1) Try to temporarily remove all plugins.
2) See to web-server's log. Are some errors present?

This issue has been solved. I reinstalled Freebsd but this time i used one from
the
release branch instead of the stable branch (it's somewhat misleading, stable
is the
development branch of the current "stable" release...

I also used apache instead of lighttpd, because on my other installs on
freebsd, i
used apache...so i'm not sure which of the 2 things are ACTUALLY causing the
problem...but either way, it's working now.

I will try an install of freebsd 7.2-stable and lighttpd on my test machine
later
today to see if we can narrow down what was causing the error, but on this
machine i
NEEDED it to work.
