1) What you mean under the words "it disapears"? What happens with feed? It
disappears from category panel? Or it has zero items?
To illustrate your problem with screenshot's please.
2) Is this happenns with any new feed? Or some concrete?
3) Are some errors in web-server's log present?

it would take 2 screen shots.
I add the filter, it shows up on the list, i can select from the feed,. then a
minute
later it's GONE and it isn't showing up on the list.
waiting 10 minutes and it doesnt' apear, reloading and it doesn't apear.
I'm FAIRLY sure it's saving though.

1) Send to me contents of your rss/cache directory. mailto:novik65@gmail.com
And say about which feed you told.
2) What about my other questions above?

it's all NEW feeds, i've tried a BUNCH.
honestly, it seems like every time there is a new update for rss that my rss
plugin
stops working, i have to delete everything and start over.
heres the 2 screen shots

I think, i found this error :(
Step by step:
1) Scheduler start automatic update of rss list. It read list from disk and
process
it (long and slow operation).
2) You add the new rss.
3) Scheduler finished update and flush the contents of list to disk. But it
doesn't
know about new additions, and flush old content, which it read at point 1.
I will think about fix.

ahh, take your time, that makes sense.
Because every time, i can delete everything and start over and it works.

I think, you take this error because you use too small autoupdate interval. On
my
system this interval = 30 min, and as result i newer intersect with such
"autoflush".
Very hard error, i need the time to fix it. May be on this week.

take your time man. You're a brilliant coder and have fixed everything i've
thrown
at you. I mainly do 3-5 minute times because on private trackers it's the
difference
between 3 ratio and 30 ratio. Believe me, all the things i've asking/finding
make a
major difference on seedboxes and it IS making the software VERY strong but
without
your hard work it's nothing, and we DO appreciate it.
So by all means, take your time.
For now the fix is for me to remove the cache dir stuff and start over from
scratch i
think.

Fixed (i hope) in r349:r350. You need to update from svn core files too. Check.

my first tests have it not working BUT that is with the same old info in the
cache
folder.
I haven't tried removing it all and starting fresh. Adding a new site, i get
this
bug still.
If it makes a difference i have my server checking rss every 3 minutes.
I would be willing to set it as low as 5 if i had to but i'd rather not have to

OK, i've deleted everything in plugins/rss/cache EXCEPT the filters
Added 4 rss feeds and they seem to be sticking around.
It's been about 10 minutes, which is a lot longer than they normally last. I
THINK
this issue is solved. Will report back if another problem pops up.
you can close this, if something happens and i need to, I'll let you know.
THANKS again.
