Cozy quiz – online service for quiz games hosting. It should be very simple, aimed to speeding up process of quiz creation.

Problem: Online quiz platforms are too overengineered. Usually takes lots of mouse clicks to transform simple question idea into working quiz.

Solution: Create a simplified service which is easy-to-use and minimalistic. However, it should have competent UX and be flexible enough. It also should have a control panel which allows teacher to start/pause quiz, choose questions and show answers.

Simplified cases:

• A person wants to create quiz for international students. He enters questions and answers into special form and gets a working quiz.
• Another person wants to embed GIF images into quiz or create some visual effects with JS and css. He just embed his code into question text and it just works.

This project is interesting because it's could be use now with the problem of the coronavirus and even in distance presentation, and many other activity in distance, and we are actually developing the distance activity with the actuality. But this could be use even more for fun between people. And it's a good challenge to see how to make it the most easier possible.

The first things i think to do it's to find how to have the less click and actions to create a quizz and then the easier way to fill the question. Simple idea but no button to add an anwer just if a field is filled so automatically show an new field so the user dont have to click on a + or something to add an answer.

I like this project because of how we can implement it. This is an opportunity to use more modern features of web browsers. I also like it because quizz are casual and game like.

How I would implement this projet?

Backend:

• Websocket communication with the client
• Multiroom management
• A way to import / export quizz to files so you can share them with someone else
• No account creation needed, only use temporary accounts
• Quizz administration (pause, add questions on the fly etc)
• Why not support for tchat

Front:

• One page framework like vue.js to exploit templating and realtime features
• Simple and clean design
• A quizz editor
• A quizz player

I'm interested in this project because it get more and more popular among young people, not only during the test of class, also the game in the party would take this application advantage to create lots of fun. And to simplify implementation of this project would be challenging.

I think this idea can be cool but there already are a lot of quizz like that ... So you need to find a very original idea for be the quizz that everybody think when we talk about a quizz. For exemple very funny UI, very original design or maybe a character for be the symbol of the quizz(duolinguo for example)

I really like this project because it looks fun but also brings a modular dimension, in the creation of quizzes, pretty interesting.
