next xfce version has partial wayland functiality. (Release Plan end this year)

please a better cursor and fonts... (Open - MONO SPACE SANS or other better readable for normal dpi, (default 96).

and please remove the application folder adding in the home folder... it is not clear this is allowed by admin)

Audit and SiEM functionality with LOG tray info bar could/should) also be insert.

and the Apparmor security with the default fedora or other appamor profile or customized and optimized by the dev team.)

btrfs snapshoting in the root file system should also be enabled ... and home folder could be luks passwort protected..)

you can look of some modules which I have written and they are on MIT License ... so hope you could release a new rlx. 2.0.1 as soon as possible + the rlx 2.1 with wayland functionality if posible on next stable xfce release...)

hyprland are also a rapidly used display manager....

Hey, A lot of stuff for a single issue here.

  1. Yup closely monitoring xfce releases.
  2. That one is user preference, by default we finalized IBM Plex, and Fira code with DPI (now configuration at initial-setup).
  3. Application folder on the home folder work as a trigger path to detect and automatically integrate AppImages.
  4. Need for more information about this issue.
  5. A work on apparmor is already start and will be available on next release (probably with full disk encryption)
  6. snapshot of root filesystem is neither recommended nor supported in rlxos, as the system is immutable and previous state (or can say snapshot) of system image is automatically created with each update.
  7. Sure I would take a look at them.
  8. Yup a lot of wayland compositor are available now and hyprland is rapidly growing, however rlxos already have support for sway and some wayland tools via extensions. and support for hyprland is already initiated.

Happy to see a release plan in your nice rlx blog site... that the people can get the infos via newsletter and support you via comment section there.

the security monitoring and warning eco system would be also be very important... and some more security eco system facts... that never be discoused priviusly open in the github issue site...

the security-info.md could you insiert with e.g. email, security[@rlxos.dev .. with PGP encryption hash key

If there no more errors in the new (my opinion NOT better new desktop interface) would be...

I would upgrade ... I liked more the old variant with the docker and the panel on the top...

NITROKEY LAPTOPS doesnt support, COMPLETE FULL DISK ENCRYPTION... -> I good some of them....

  1. no GRUB ENCRYPTION POSSIBLE ..
  2. no /boot ENCRYPTION POSSIBLE ...
