Persistent action required notice #379

Watchla persistently presents “action required” notice related to authentication, even after repeatedly authenticating using the iOS app

Hi @FreeBSD4Me, We are sorry to hear this. Could you please tell me which version of Watchla you are currently using? You can check which version you are currently on via preferences and by scrolling down to the bottom of the screen. Please check on both your iOS & watchOS.

Hi, I have the same problem. The phone app works fine, however in my Apple Watch (4th gen) it keeps on mentioning the following:

“Action required! We’ve made critical updates that require authentication your Apple Watch one more time.”

Even after multiple attempts I keep getting the same notification. Also the battery percentage is not displayed on the Apple Watch. I tried uninstalling Watchla from my Apple Watch and reinstalling however without success. Also tried to refresh connection all without any luck.

App version: 3.8.1 (446) iPhone 12 pro and Apple Watch 4th gen

Please advise.

Hi @Ries010 @FreeBSD4Me, I believe you are encountering a known authentication issue in Watchla. The good news is that we are testing a working solution in beta with very promising results.
