This task is running behind. I was waiting for the tile map settings to be corrected by Matt. The base design is drawn up in a my notebook. It shouldn't take long to build in Engine.
The base-level layout is complete. Waiting on Matt to add the enemy spawn system and the loot system.
Added the enemy spawn system along with multiple enemy spawn points. Also added props to the level to give life and depth. Still waiting on the loot system to be completed.
Level 1 will be very basic, teaching the player how to jump, shoot, collect items, and how to utilize the screen wrap.
There will be a few enemies (this is an unknown amount at this time) per wave, with a maximum of three waves. Enemies will be easy to kill and if they shoot projectiles, they will shoot them at a very slow rate.
When the final enemy is killed, the player will be sent to the perk card scene, where they will be able to purchase a perk card to aid them in their journey.
