Import/export is required when someone wants to create a backup file, change their phone, or simply reset their phone settings.

How crucial of a feature is it? I don't see people changing or resetting their device often.

But when you do is really useful to have. Depends, if you're testing new phones/ROMs can be quite often.

Exporting is also nice for analysis or lifelogging.

It looks like the data automatically deletes itself after three and a half months or so. I haven't reset my device or anything, but I'm just noticing this pattern. So I can't see anything longer than four months ago.
