Bug Description (Required)

Visibility: When a modal window is open, the language dropdown becomes obscured and unusable. It appears that the modal's z-index is higher than the dropdown, causing it to be visually overwritten.
Styling: The language dropdown's styling seems to be inconsistent with the current theme.

Steps to Reproduce (Required)

Open the Settings
Click on Language dropdown
Language listbox is opened but not usable

Expected Behavior (Required)

The language dropdown should be clearly visible and fully functional when a modal window is open. This can be achieved by ensuring the dropdown has a higher z-index than the modal.
The language dropdown should adhere to the established theme's styling guidelines (background-colors mostly)
