The recent changes made by the ChatGPT developers seem to have broken the custom scrollbar styles, resulting in the default browser scrollbars being displayed.
It's worth noting that we should consider giving the ChatGPT developers some time to address this issue. In the past, I have encountered similar situations where I rushed to resolve issues caused by changes made by the ChatGPT team, only for them to fix it themselves a few days or weeks later. Therefore, maybe I should monitor the situation for a short period before proceeding with own solution.
