Describe the solution you'd like The wisp lantern should have the wisp particles when carrying them in you hand. Wisp lanterns should also have a ghost light that you can see inside the lantern behind the colored glass

There is a ghost light in the lanterns. They aren't visible due to Minecraft's crappy render ordering. If you use Fabulous it might be visible at the expense of randomly going behind water. Not much I can do about it.

Not doing particles in hand for scaling and performance reasons

Ok I see them now in Fabulous graphics, thanks. Also it's fine, optifine's light glow effect is enough for me anyway. Have a great day :)
