I hope to be able to use it in Linux

This is based on Microsoft Iddcx tech. Which I'm confident isn't supported in Linux, there will be quite a longtime till this driver will be supporting Linux. But I do believe there are other solutions for Linux, where you can pipe/fork output from one device to a software based device. Just can't think of one of the top of my head.
