Quite often, particularly with out of area calls or when visiting a different area patients that have care plans or long term conditions (eg. DNAR, ISB1580, etc.), the 111 service will not have access to these care plans, again there is no National specification to support this as a joined up and integrated service provision and ensure the patients wishes are known wherever the patient is in the country.
