Provide a cookbook on how to run competitions/conventions.

contents to be included:

checklists with common things (what to buy, what to organize)
instruction sheets for volunteers
collection of best practices (processes, roles & responsibilities, ...)

And who might be interessted to contribute here? ad: @scotthue Maybe, Benoit and Hugo can provide their latest experience plus maybe Ken. Connie also has something written down, which can be used as a start. Someone should ask her, if she wants to provide this.

I'm working on creating a framework for this now that many people can contribute to.
