What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have 2 (or preferably more than 10) tabs opened.
2. Focus the tab on the extreme left of the row
3. Open a link with MLB by using "Modifier for opening links in new tab" or the
"Postfix-key for opening link in new tab".
What is the expected output?
The new tab should open to the immediate right of my current tab, ie. at second
position. This is what (my) Firefox does when opening a new tab with the
context menu, or with the middle button.
What do you see instead?
The new tab opens at the extreme right of the row, making it painful to focus
on it and get back to the original tab.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Firefox 9.0.1. It happens on both Debian 6.0 32 bits and Windows 7 64 bits.
Please provide any additional information below.
I'm surprised that no one has entered a post about this issue. I can't find any
clue that I modified Firefox default settings. Isn't it how Firefox behaves by
default when opening a new tab? BTW - Thank you for this high-quality product,
I just love it. Makes me more efficient as a developer by not making my hands
leave the keyboard. Probably helps with RSI but time will tell.
