  1. PERMISSIONS -- Follow-up survey should be available on the trainee phones, under trainee permissions. However, hidden until May 2019, if that is a feature that is possible.

  2. General notes: Follow-up survey questions in the mHBS/DHIS2 tool version of Dec 9 - 13 appear to be out of sync with what the participant study experiences will be, based on numerous revisions from the Kenya meetings (September 2018) to present (December 2018). For example,

    -- Participants should not be asked about their experience using one of the digital tools if they indicate that they did not have access to that tool (because they were randomized to another group). Branching logics added to improve form flow and reduce burden associated with asking irrelevant questions.

--There were no fields at all about the digitized provider guide, which is one of the digital interventions for this trial. Those have been added.

--The likert scale questions about access, ease of use, and utility of the various tools were not balanced across the interventions. This has been fixed.

--Questions in regards to challenges and barriers seemed to be unnecessarily leading. These have been restructured.

--Questions added to ascertain if participant would use the digital intervention(s) themselves, in the future, and/or recommend to colleagues.

--Question added regarding self-reported use of digital educational/training resources, and self-reported use of HBB practice corners. These self-reported variables can be compared with aggregate data from Health Facility Site Visit form to assess for accuracy of self report. Many digital health projects suffer from positive recall bias.

--Questions added to ascertain if participants felt that the digital interventions were specifically helpful in terms of clinical practice.

  1. See the word document “REVISED Follow-up Survey – version December 14 2018 eHBB/mHBS study” to program the revised form into mHBS.
