Reading password-protected Excel files

I've tried to do a little research about this, but is there any way of
reading password-protected ("encrypted"?) Excel files -- of course under
the assumption that the password is supplied? Could this be implemented
into this class? Thoughts?

As you can see its Mar 25, 2011 so I think this will never happen. I have the 
same problem right now and I don't know if there is any solution by now, any 
one? It doesnt matter if is not with this product, I really need to read 
password protected excel files, (providing the password). Help please.

not solved till now..tried PHPExcelParser too but no luck there too.If anybody 
has any suggestions please share...thanks in advance..

riends when it comes to the excel password, they mean that you have an excel 
file excel sheet key can not be read by library excelReader? I await your

What password protection due you want to read? Send an example file, please I'm 
experimenting myself with the class.

I have been looking into this issue for a few days now, and still have no clue 
as to how to read a password protected Excel file. I really hope there is an 
answer to this problem soon.
