Inconsistent usage between address book, students, and contacts #10

Open ivan24004 opened 3 months ago

It seems like all of these should mean similar things, but different terms are used which may lead to confusion. It is not clear why a list of student or contacts should be called an address book and it's not exactly clear that students and contacts mean the same thing.

Team's Response

It is still primarily a contact management app.

The 'Original' Bug

Use of the term "address book" in UG

Note from the teaching team: This bug was reported during the Part II (Evaluating Documents) stage of the PE. You may reject this bug if it is not related to the quality of documentation.

In certain parts of the UG, the word "address book" is used to refer to data of the app. This could be replaced with a more appropriate term, since the application's purpose has shifted from just keeping track of contacts, and more to do with scheduling timetables.

Their Response to the 'Original' Bug

[This is the team's response to the above 'original' bug]

It is still primarily a contact management app, scheduling timetable is an additional optional feature. So address book is still valid.
