Display unread SMS count in SMSdroid widget even if notifications are disabled. #168

I'd like to use the "normal" SMS notification since there is a feature that 
displays unread SMS at the screen when the phone is locked. If also the 
SMSdroid notifications are enabled, there are two notifications for each SMS. 
So I disabled the SMSdroid notifications. Unfornatly in this case the unread 
SMS count is not displayed in the SMSdroid widget.

Would it be possible to show it even if SMSdroid notifications are disabled?

Sorry, it seems that I'm not able to change the type of this issue. Of course 
it's 
_not_ a defect/bug.

I just wanted to add that I switched back to SMSdroid's notification. So for me 
there's no need to implement this feature.

Wow, thanks for your effort. A small donation is on the way. Also I'll provide a
Connector to BMW's free sms service if I can spend the time to have a look at 
the API
docs (what means: probably not :/).
