sms >160 letters not submitted at all

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use o2 sms connector
2. Send "long" sms with more than 160 
letters 
3.

What is the expected output? What do 
you see instead?
i expect the full sms to be submited. 
Instead, nothing is submitted.

What version of the product are you 
using? On what operating system?
Android 2. 1, htc desire

Please provide any additional 
information below.
