Contact name not shown in smsdroid #256

I' ve recveived a message from a unknown number. After adding this number to a
new contact, smsdroid thread overview still shows the number, not the contact
name. Even after answering to this message, the number is still shown (now with
2 messages of course).
If I open the thread, both messages will be shown in conversation tree. The
first message shows correctly the name of the contact.
But the "answer" button at bottom shows only the number.
When I press at answer, websms is opend and shows correctly the contact in
receiver field: Name <+49...>
I' ve cleared the cache from smsdroid, no changes.
In stock application thread overview shows the name of contact.

Ok, now the name is shown:
I opened smsdroid and opened the "contextmenu" of the contact without name. The
menu title shows correctly the name, but when I pressed on "Open contact"
(Zeige Kontakt), smsdroid crashes ("Sorry...") I dont remember the class name
exactly, but it was an smsdroid class.
After "restart" smsdroid, the name is shown now correctly in sms thread
overview and "open contact" from context menu is working fine.

think this is a caching thing.
for future use:
please send me your device logs after a FC.
it's the only way i can fix bugs like this.

Ok, I reproduced the crash and sent logs to you.
The way to crash was:
Sent message to 66306 ("Base Flat" Status request), never used this number /
contact before.
After that, in sms threat overview the number is shown. Then I pressed / hold
long at the number to open "context menu" and chose "zu Kontakten hinzufügen /
add to contacts".
In sms threat overview still only the number is shown, but in conversation tree
the given name is displayed (behaviour as descibed in opening post).
Back to sms threat overview and open the context menu again to choose "Show
contact" -- Bang! SMSDroid crashes...
Directly after restart the correct name is shown instead of number.
So I sent logs to you.

Just playing arount, I deleted the contact for 66306. Right now, the sms threat
overview still shows the name of deleted contact *g*
But you must be right, this is caused of caching in smsdroid. After "killing"
the task and restart smsdroid, the number will be shown.

Does not really solve the problem...
Exactly the same behavoir as above with one exception:
smsdroid does not crash anymore if I choose "show contact". Now a popup opens
and ask me how to handle the action "Aktion durchführen mit" where nearly any
app from my phone is listed. If I choose the one of the 2 "contacts" options
(Kontakte -> com.android.htcontacts), the contact search fiels is opened or my
own contact card is opened.
The sms overview still shows the number...

I've tried to reproduce the described behavior, but there result was as it
should be! (No Crash, correct contact-app opens and sms-droid immedetially
shows the contact name)

Thanks for fixing this!
