HTML5 Form Submission Validation Error #89

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visit a site with HTML5 Form Validation with different type of Encryption.
2. Check NoScript and it'll display an Error about Invalid Encryption with
HTML5.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Suppose to load the site properly, not mess around with invalid Encryption of
HTML5. I was at the following website when the error prevented me from loading
the site properly. –– https://plus.google.com/games/659749063556

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Latest Build on Mac OSX 10.6.8

Please provide any additional information below.

see screenshot in attachment. Error is because of NoScript, because when it's
disabled it works perfectly with no loading errors. Only happens with NoScript
because it's lack of ability to just accept whatever is on the page site and
NOT interfere with invalid encryption when it has nothing to do with it, since
it's only suppose to block cookies and scripts from loading.

Also should take note that, Clicking on the "Click here to reset HTML5 Storage"
doesn't even work. And HTML5 Settings is ON in the settings of Google Chrome.

I can verify this on Mac OS Lion 10.7.2 and Windows 7 x64 SP1 (current on
patches).

Related to blocking of 3rd party cookies:

This does not work--I do not have 3rd party blocking on, and it is still giving
me this error. It seems to have begun after I installed Ghostery, but only on
one computer, then it spread to others.
