The COOSYS element should have an attribute called refposition which specifies the origin of the coordinate system. The vocabulary of legal values should match that of the TIMESYS element and is maintained at http://www.ivoa.net/rdf/refposition. In previous discussions, this has been considered an important enhancement that should be added in the next possible version.
Because this attribute was not required when COOSYS was introduced, it must remain optional for version 1.5 (or any 1.x). It can be required for version 2.0.
