binding issues #8

on an english us keyboard, binding this to the backtick ` renders the tilde ~ useless

looking at dconf-editor the value for backtick is ['grave']

I think this might be related to a bug that a German user posted to Debian: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=880181

@ivoarch do you think you could perhaps look at this?
