Cannot get the launcher to load #2

I've installed the 0.02 release vpk, and have launcher.rom (as well as several other roms) in ux0:/data/uxn, but on startup all I get is "Boot: Failed to start rom.". Looking at the code this suggests uxn booted, and the rom was loaded, but for some reason the rom won't start.

I've confirmed that the launcher.rom works fine on Windows uxnemu, and also tried renaming calc.rom to launcher.rom to see if it would start, but the behavior is the same. If I have no launcher.rom present in ux0:data/uxn I get the expected "Boot: Failed to load rom" error.

Any ideas for what I can try to resolve this?

[Edit: I now suspect the cause may be changes to the upstream VM which aren't present in the 0.02 release, and will look into it further.]

I've submitted a PR which I believe resolves this issue.
