Thank you for your post.

I came across this and it got my interest as someone who just started in both versions.

Any idea how to do this from melodic to iron, is there any official guide for this kind of staff?

I have also one other question, can I code in one ros version and communicate with another ros or ros2, using bridge. Or is the system running on host and client must be identical in everything including packages.
