Why not have the one projected screen clone the other?
It's a long story, but I do have legitimate reasons :-) Public space with different users and different applications being used on the displays. One application (ProPresenter7) uses all three screens with different content on each (1 - control, 2 - main audience projection display, & 3 - stage confidence monitor like a teleprompter). We also use Plex in that space as quick and easy way to play videos, in which case I want 2 & 3 to display the full video. We do this now with a matrix switcher to change the video routing so 2 and 3 can get the same signal. But, if it were possible to configure Plex MPV Shim, there would be no need to reconfigure the matrix switcher.
It is just a matter of ease and convenience. Just curious if it might be possible to configure in MPV Shim. If not, no big deal.
It probably would be very complicated for me to implement unless there is something in MPV I don't know about. You can run two copies though.
That’s what I suspected. If there was a quick and easy setting to send the video to two screens, great. If not, you don’t need to bother. Running two instances might be problematic due to syncing, especially audio. You can close this issue if you wish. I highly doubt anything will ever come of it. Thanks!
I'm pretty sure this is not possible, but I'm gonna ask anyway. Could Plex MPV Shim be configured to play the video fullscreen on two different displays? I have a setup with 3 displays: 1- Running Plex Web UI casting to Plex MPV Shim 2- Main projection display 3- Another projection display
