Modernise default presentation of graphs #8

This is possibly slightly contentious, but I feel that the standard colours, text, grid etc. are moderately ugly ;)

I would like to propose that the default presentation should be more akin to the default graphs that are drawn by Excel 2016,

This has mostly been implemented. There are some outstanding issues relating to specific new visual improvements (e.g. #15, #20), but the general work has been done.
