<TAB> instead of <tab> #254

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enter <TAB> instead of <tab> ... which I did as a **newbie**
2. it DISABLES your keyboard
3. disbelief, frustration and reboot ... followed by google search to fix it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected was the filling of a form .. instead my keyboard locked

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
newest ...
