@ixartz I've tested these changes on my end and I'm getting writes and read to and from our dev database in Neon! Thanks for the fix, brilliant work. I'll keep testing it out and report back if I notice any strange behaviour.

Addresses issue #289

@mzavattaro This is extremely strange, this isn't any major changes related to the database. But good to know if it resolves your issue.
