Thanks @BrianXu20, @nickmoreton, and @katdom13. There's been a lot of PRs involved to get to here and quite a wait, so thank you all for the effort and patience.

My old employer (ixc) has covered the cost to prep this PR and push to PyPI. I haven't tested it myself, but they've been running torthbox's fork for a while now, so I'll publish as-is and fix any issues as they emerge.

I've pushed wagtail-instance-selector==3.0.0 with this PR merged. Let me know if there any issues.
