MAP - too big for window #90

Open Andrew-Clement opened 7 years ago

eg see this feedback comment in G64

The whole page can scroll; it's always larger than the window, no matter how large I make it, making it hard to contain the data. The search UI is very large, taking up a lot of space. The map aspect ratio is tall for most window sizes, even though most routes move horizontally.

@Andrew-Clement this looks like a design issue. We need to make this actionable in some way (tho I suggest that we should not deal with this at present)

How about label as Postpone?

WHile I can label an issue from pre-existing labels, I don't seem to be able to add new label types. Have I missed something, or is this a permissions issue? If so, how to fix?

Agreed, and a postpone label is definitely useful - would be applied to several other issues.

To create a new label, nav to the issues page, click the 'Labels' button (same area as Filter, Milestones, New Issue), then click the New label button

On the issues page I see an Issues button near the top left, below New Issue button and above Milestone button, but no sign of Filter button. I Do see Assignees above and Projects below. No sign of New label button.

It looks to me like you're on the page of a particular issue, as opposed to the 'issues page' (ie you're one level too deep). Are you perhaps on mobile? Maybe the button is located elsewhere.

Side note - it's actually kind of strange having someone responding to things in the fly... I usually have to wait ~12 hrs. Time zones etc
