Can you add a command line feature so XBMC can read CPU or GPU temperature data?

You can do this by using a console .vbs program

Save the code in between the code tags as intlcpu1.vbs
<code>
strComputer = "."
Set objWMIService = GetObject("winmgmts:\\" & strComputer &
"\root\OpenHardwareMonitor")
Set colItems = objWMIService.ExecQuery( _
    "SELECT * FROM Sensor WHERE Identifier = '/intelcpu/0/clock/1'",,48)
For Each objItem in colItems
    Wscript.Echo objItem.Value
Next
</code>

call intlcpu1.vbs with
<code>
cscript intlcpu1.vbs //Nologo
</code>
