I actually considered adding this in the beginning, but ultimately passed on it once I got more development done in the plugin. I wanted to make my own plugin to test my own skills and didn't want to use Metalloriff's plugin for reference or anything! But if there's demand for it, I can try to add it.
I was contacted actually by one of the plugin's users that asked for this functionality from Metalloriff, and they offered the user back a conversion script, which I got permission to share. It's a Python script, and needs Python 3 to run. I've uploaded it to a git repository if you'd like it and I'll link it here soon (might try to address a problem in it first), but be careful as I didn't really have any involvement in its creation and I don't really know how it runs with my plugin, only that it works, and it might bug the "recent removals" display because my logs have dates whereas Metalloriff's doesn't.
I'd highly recommend making a copy of your RemovedConnectionAlerts_{id}.config.json before running it, in case something goes wrong, or for if I integrate this functionality into the base plugin!
If the conversion script is made by Metalloriff himself I think that's good enough reason to trust it. I'd definitely want to back up your config file first for sure. But, yeah, if you end up not adding it as a feature, I'd love a link to the script! Although, I wont lie, it would be cool to have it natively supported ;P No rush tho, my old config file isn't going anywhere anytime soon and your new plugin works really well, thanks for the response :)
This was added as a feature in the most recent update, 0.7.0! It can be found in the plugin's settings menu.
Metalloriff's plugin has been down for quiet a long time and I was wondering if it would be possible to import friend history from that plugin so it can be viewed in this new working one? I'm not exactly sure how the friend detection works but I was hoping the old plugin kept a list of people who were friends so that the new plugin could import that and see what was removed on the downtime the plugin has had. If it doesn't work this way it would be nice in general to just import the history from the old plugin's config file so it can be viewed in the new one's UI. Thanks in advanced!
P.S. I can also supply an old config file if that's needed for testing :)
