For consistent labeling, we need tangible guidelines for the labels , and .

At our meeting on 31 March, we agreed that:

• should be used when a phrase more or less matches the title of the plot. Note that some titles include axis names, but some don't, so the span of is a bit different for each plot

• if the title doesn't include the name of an axis, then the name shouldn't be labeled as

• to decide how individually occurring pieces of the title should be labeled (either _object or _property), we need to go through the summaries and find if there are some patterns we can use to come up with the annotation guidelines

Some typical difficult examples:

• Plot title: "Akef Inc. closing stock prices for the week"
• Akef Inc. closing stock prices have declined
• How to label "Akef Inc."? The label should be used for "closing stock prices".

What about labeling a phrase that resembles the title, but includes less information?

• Plot title: "Akef Inc. closing stock prices for the week"
• The graph shows the relation of the day of the week against closing stock prices
• Is "relation of the day of the week against closing stock prices" or should it be broken down?
