Entity with entity_picture attribute - live video #110

Is it possible to show a live video stream in the image box? Currently I can only set the display length to 1 sec, giving me a new still image every second. However when I set up a card with the type picture entity, I can have a live stream within in this card. Would be nice to have this as the screen saver image as well

Are your requesting to simply also load + display mp4 files along-side images? Because I would like that as well - as well as potentially playing them on loop. I currently have to use .gif in order to display looping video.

That's exactly what I want. Do you get any good quality using gifs?

How do you play .gif in wallpanel? i try to place them in the directory where the pictures for wallpanel stay but it didnt load the gif

EDIT: Problem with gif solved: the resolution of my gifs was to high, set it down to 720px runs but stops a bit, perfect run at 480px
