Download media feature not working..

Up until yesterday, I was able to download Buzzfeed videos from their tweets but whenever I tried to do so, it shows the prompt that it is downloading, but it never actually completes.

I have updated to the most recent version but the problem is still there. I have also checked my settings both in the app, and in system, and the app has permission to write to the location, so there is no reason on my end for it not to work.

Please fix as soon as possible.

I cannot reproduce. I can download videos from Buzzfeed tweets right now. Which Buzzfeed tweet video are you trying to download?

I have tried to do the same on my phone and it still didn't work. I am using the latest version on both devices.

Strange because I opened the tweet you provided and was able to download the video (104 Mb). Maybe it's because you have a slow internet connection and there is a timeout at some point of the download?

Hi, I just tried again with the most recent updates and it still doesn't work.

Previously on my last post, a notice would pop up after I clicked the icon to download, but it would say "downloading media" but wouldn't actually download anything.. and now, the notice doesn't pop up at all.

I have the same issue. Nothing pop up. Version 3.7.3

Just noticed this and some checking found some accounts subscribed to that cant download, Nothing happens on clicking, but sometimes when the same video is retweeted I can download it from the retweet

Further checking its intermittenet / random some will download some will not When it doesnt work you will not get the "downloading Media" banner displayed across the bottom

Videos that wont download will stop playing as soon as you press the : menu in the top left of the media. & buttons wont work at all. Videos that will download will keep playing after pressing the : menu, , buttons will function the directory window opens and download as expected

Workaround opening a saved Tweet allows downloading where previously it would not download

I'm still trying to fix the issue. Not done yet. In my tests I found that when I try to download a video directly from a feed/group timeline or a profile tweet list, it works as expected (not selecting the tweet prior to try to download its video). The problem arise if I select the tweet, that shows the page with the tweet thread, and then I try to download the video, nothing happens, I have to cancel.

Version v3.7.4 should fix the issue.
