Fix code to allow updates again #4

The startup script was messed up and the wrong stuff was passed to the update function. This PR fixes this.

Hi @j-hiller,

if you find the time it would be great, if you could check the script again. After some months it stopped working with the same symptoms being stuck at "Verbindungen laden...".
