As this is a large group, it would be useful on the change of a turn to have a timer show.
IE : on the turn change event, destroy previous timers, create a new one, and count down. At 0, don't do anything (GM handled), but would help keep things focused and fast.
(A recommendation for 4E D&D for groups more then 4)
30 Seconds would be the timer, this fits nicely into the 6 seconds a round is meant to take. Planning should be used during outside your turn.
