Analyzer Repository, 2013-10-31 Notes, & Smaller Groups Breakdown #6

I've created a new repository as I can't add to Jody's! I've included a list of our members, goals discussed today during class, breakdown and notes from class/Chris' talk about the cost vs. earthquake graph. I've made everyone a contributor.

Also, I thought of maybe using Jody's repo as the working repository for all of our information & when something works absolutely properly / our final product, group 1 (the checkers and communicators) can upload our final product to the new repo. The multiple items get a little bit confusing and jumbled so this way we can keep everything clear and concise.

Within the repository I've included three items so far:

How does this sound?

That sounds fine. Thanks for setting it up and for taking the game plan notes.

I'm surprised you can't add to this repository though...you're definitely a contributor. Maybe it'll work later, hopefully.

I strongly suggest we stick to one repo.

I know it might seem crazy to have us all working out of one repository, but that's exactly what git is for! shared workflows. having everything in one place will prevent future headaches.

a side repository for the four-person subgroups might be a good idea, though! maybe fork Jody's analyzers repository and the subgroup can then submit pull requests.

let's work on debugging your write access to Jody's repo. for now, you can clone it and submit pull requests instead of pushing your changes directly.

I agree - one repository is easier, but the second repository wouldn't be used until cleaning up the data at the very end of our portion and only by the checkers and communicators in Group 1! Just put it out there that there was another one, but not really communicated clearly it wouldn't be used for anyone but John, Me and our other group members.
