Nativescript 7 compatibility #9

Hello,

Will this plugin be updated to support Nativescript 7 and latest version of nativescript-google-maps-sdk? I tried to adjust it myself, but it still does not work as expected. Clusters and markers disappear when I drag the map.

I will be watching this weekend. Normally there are only the names of the imports to modify.

Any progress on this? It does not work with latest nativescript-google-maps-sdk.

Hi, my team and my have left Nativescript development and moved to Flutter.

There was too much tracking problem with the plugins and we were spending too much time on them instead of focusing on our applications and our customers.

I'm not planning an upgrade for my plugins.

I use my fork https://github.com/OniQ/Nativescript-Danem-Google-Maps-Utils with some fixes. Works well enough.

@OniQ Thanks! Trying to make a fork of it to see if I can get it to work on NS 8.1 here.

@OniQ - Any luck with this? I'm migrating from v6.8 to 8.1 and will need this plugin. I'd rather not convert it myself if you've already done the work.

I only had android working. Currently don't have OSX to test iOS.

Thanks guys.  I'm in the process of migrating a large app that makes extensive use of Google maps.  I'll experiment with this, but it may early next year before I get to that part.  I'll let yo know what I'm able to do.
