By any chance, do either of you have a non-standard wired controller, such as a
"special edition"? Or are you using the default 360 wired controller, or a
"Made for Windows" Microsoft 360 wired controller?

I should have added that I am using a Game Stop branded Mad Katz wired
controller.

"Herre...", I see. Can you upload a screenshot of your device manager with any
game controller sections expanded? I am curious whether your controller is
using the official Microsoft drivers, or some third-party/generic drivers. If
the controller does not show up to the computer as a normal Microsoft 360 wired
controller, I am guessing it may not be possible to get the chatpad drivers
working with it easily, if at all.

Followed your instructions and got this error on an authentic MS wired
controller and Vista Home Premium. Im using a computer with an intel processor,
does that make a difference? Am I supposed to be running ia64? I will try a
few more things..

"sinkis", I have replied to your email -- you appear to be having a different
problem than this issue due to your different error code. See the following:

Did you receive the screen caps of my device manager I sent 4 days ago? I
don't see it in the comments on the thread and just wanted to be sure you
received what you asked for.
