Install fails with error 0x00000422 #3

Installing the device drivers may fail with error 0x00000422.  I have a device 
install log captured that will hopefully help me to fix this problem.

This issue MIGHT only happen on Windows Vista.  Please let me know what OS you 
have if you see this problem.

A person who had this problem now has the chatpad working.  As far as I tell, 
this problem can happen if Windows Vista is the operating system and Windows 
Update is disabled.

Enabling Windows Update, installing the latest important updates, and rebooting 
the system may then allow the chatpad drivers to be successfully installed.
