Chatpad stops working randomly #56

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Can't reproduce the problem, just happens anytime while using it.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The chatpad should work normally, but suddenly it stops working. There's no
message, or apparent problem at the command line window, just the chatpad stops
writting and light don't turn on any longer.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Win7 Ultimate x64 + corresponding control utility

Please provide any additional information below.
I had two chatpads intstalled on different machines, both win7. One of them C2D
and the other i3 socket 1156. It was all fine until I had to change the 1156
mobo + CPU to a 1150 socket.

Installed windows and the chatpad on the new hardware and everything worked
fine for a short time, until the chatpad started having problems randomly. At
any given time it stops working, it can be in 2 minutes or 2 hours.

I have tried disabling energy saving features, both on the BIOS and Windows,
without success. What could be causing this?

Things I tried:
- USB energy savers off
- Reinstall chatpad
- Update Mobo drivers
- Update BIOS to latest version

Things left to try:
- Reinstall win7 again

Disabling the xHCI at the UEFI fixed the problem, though now the usb3 ports act
like usb2.

This was on an Asus B85M-G with the latest usb3 drivers and BIOS updates.
