Wifi automatic in airplane mode with root? #49

Hello, Do you think it's possible to add an option to WiFi automatic to gain root and change WiFi in airplane mode? (on rooted devices of course)

I have some apps with this kind of setting, but no sure it's useful here. On evening I would like my WiFi to connect as usual (it disconnects after screen off).

I'm ready to help if I can, but I'm a Web developer, I don't know enough to do it myself!

Would not it be blocked to activate WiFi in airplane mode too? 🤔

It probably is somehow possible on rooted devices - but I dont have any rooted devices so I'm not particular interested in that. Feel free to issue a PR if you find a solution though

Maybe look in something like https://github.com/MBach/AutoAirplaneMode to see how it uses root access. :-| I'd like to use these 2 apps together to cut cell phone during night, but let WiFi be managed by WiFi-Automatic even in airplane mode.

What is strange is that WiFi-Automatic can shut down WiFi automatically and it can pull it on when we click on "click here to activate..." on airplane mode. So why not activate automatically also? Strange... Are you doing differently when we click manually?

Did somebody find a solution? I'm on always airplane and it would be so wonderful to use this tool to control wifi with turning display on and off Device is rooted ofc.
