Can the API support loading loading pyramid tiff from custom tiling server #157

And can it also show images that are not of an earth but rather human cellular images? If so, a pointer to the API calls would be great.

Yes, you can display tiles from any custom tiling server. All you need to know is the tiling scheme (width/height of each tile + number of levels + pixel size of each level). http://docs.jquerygeo.com/geomap/tilingScheme.html

As long as a server is producing tiles that you can access by zoomlevel/row/column, the tiles can be of anything and don't have to be maps. Here's a GigaPan image of Olympic Volleyball displayed with jQuery Geo: http://jsbin.com/alarah/2
