2 years ago - big change, eliminating specifiable foreground colors for categories.
- now categories are styled by given background and inferred foreground
- this makes it a bit simpler to apply multiple effects to the style with confidence it will look ok
- currently selected (keyboard) event also "pops out" slightly (horizontal size increases)
