Using Nastaliq is going back in time #201

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.It is like going from motor car back to horse buggy. Nastaliq is just a
relic. Over 55 languages use Arabic script. None of them is using Nastaliq,
except Urdu. Our regional languages, like Sindhi, Pashto, Balochi, Kashmiri,
etc. are all written in Naskh. Even the Iranians, who invented Nastaliq,
abandoned it over a century ago, as soon mechanical type composing became
available. After Nastaliq became available for Urdu composing in 1980, it still
cannot write every word and has to resort to Naskh. We lost two full decades in
trying to use Nastaliq in computers. No wonder, the use of Urdu on Internet is
extremely limited. No emails, except in Naskh. It is a pity that we are keen to
go back in time, rather than move ahead.

Thanks for the feedback. We are fully aware that many Arabic-based languages,
including Persian (my native language) prefer Naskh over Nastaliq. That is why
we have had Noto Naskh Arabic long before Noto Nastaliq Urdu.
